We built PromoteIQ to improve e-commerce by helping retailers and brands work together more effectively. Today, our technology reaches millions of shoppers daily and powers millions of dollars of vendor marketing revenue on behalf of some of the largest online retailers and brands in the world. We’ve been fortunate enough to have as clients some of the industry’s leading retailers, including Kroger, Kohl’s, Office Depot, B&H Photo and Overstock.com. We’ve spent the last few years helping these companies build and scale their vendor marketing programs with strong success, and now we are taking the next step in that journey. We couldn’t be more excited to announce that Microsoft has acquired PromoteIQ.
Retail is an industry in the midst of rapid fundamental change, and Microsoft has brought a humble, thoughtful approach to building out the defining operating system to power the future of commerce.
Our combined entities have a tremendous opportunity to redefine and deliver the next generation of vendor marketing to retailers and brands. Microsoft brings industry leading AI and machine-learning capabilities, as well as a strong global retail market footprint. We’ll have more plans to share on this front in the coming months, but we are confident that this acquisition will accelerate PromoteIQ’s growth and expand Microsoft’s reach and scale globally.
For now, it’s business as usual as we continue to support our retailer clients and their brand partners, now with the added benefit of the tremendous resources and scale that Microsoft provides. We have aggressive plans to deliver for our retail clients and have no intention of slowing down.
